1. Connect signal from source to CH B input.
2. Biamp/Stereo switch not active (Stereo/Mono switch
overrides this switch when in mono/70V/100V mode).
3. Move Stereo/Mono switch to 70V mode.
4. Select 70V load, both channels.
5. Connect parallel array of 70V transformer-equipped
speakers across the red terminals of the 5-way binding
posts. (1400W–SR2800, 700W–SR2300) CE units: Wire
SPEAKON as shown above and connect to CH A output.
6. CH B input sensitivity controls 70V mono output level.
Amplifier will clip at 70Vrms level.
1. Connect signal from source to CH B input.
2. Biamp/Stereo switch not active-(Stereo/Mono switch
overrides this switch when in mono/70V/100V mode).
3. Move Stereo/Mono switch to MONO mode.
4. Set load switches (8
Ω/4Ω/2Ω) to 1/2 the actual load
impedance. (16
Ω/8Ω/4Ω) i.e. for a 4Ω speaker load,
select the 2 Ω setting for both CH A and CH B Load
Switches
5. Connect appropriate speaker load 16 Ω/8Ω/4Ω across
the red terminals of the 5-way binding posts. CE units:
Wire SPEAKON as shown above and connect to CH A
output.
6. CH B level control adjusts the mono output level.
