Surface Burner Controls

Knobs that turn the surface burners on and off are

Before Lighting a Burner

If drip pans are supplied with your range, they

should be used all times.

Make sure the grates on the range are in place before

using either burner.

To Light a Surface Burner

Push the control knob in and
turn it to LITE.
You will hear
a little “clicking” noise—the

sound of the electric spark
igniting the burner.

After the burner ignites, turn the
knob to adjust the flame size.

After Lighting a Burner

Check to be sure the burner you turned on is the one

you want to use.

Do not operate burner for an extended period

of time without cookware on the grate. The finish
on the grate may chip without cookware to absorb
the heat.

Be sure the burners and grates are cool
