A—Productivity tools
Productivity tools provide convenient access to product information, settings, and support, and include the
following:

HP ToolboxFX for Windows
•
HP Embedded Web Server for network users and Macintosh
•
HP Web Jetadmin
•
HP Instant Support Professional Edition
•
HP SureSupply
•
HP Universal Printer Driver Series for Windows
HP ToolboxFX for Windows
HP ToolboxFX provides a single access point to all product information and settings. HP ToolboxFX is a
Windows-based application that you can use to perform a wide variety of tasks, including:

Set up speed dialing.
•
Receive faxes at your computer. 1
•
Manage fax logs.
You can view HP ToolboxFX when the device is directly connected to a computer or to a network.
Note You do not need Internet access to open and use HP ToolboxFX. However, if you click a link in the
Other Links area, you must have Internet access to go to the site associated with the link.
Supported operating systems
HP ToolboxFX supports Windows 2000 and XP, and is available when you perform a complete software
installation from the product software CD. (Installing the device via the Windows Printer Wizard will install
the driver only.)
Accessing HP ToolboxFX
Open HP ToolboxFX in one of the following ways:
•
On the desktop, double-click the HP ToolboxFX icon.
•
Double-click the Status Client icon that is located in the Windows system tray, which is at the far right of
the taskbar.
•
Click Start, point to Programs, Hewlett-Packard, hp LaserJet 3052/3055 all-in-one, and then click
HP ToolboxFX.
