HOLDER’s ingenuity has created a hydrostatic transmission with two mechanical speed
ranges. Hand and foot controls allow the operator to either drive with a single foot pedal or
control ground speed while maintaining PTO speed. This system reduces the use of brakes
while allowing the operator to concentrate on beautifully manicured grounds, swept and
sprayed paths, or clean and ice-free sidewalks. The self-contained hydrostatic drive system is
independent of the tractor hydraulics, reducing the risk of contamination and costly repairs,
and ensuring that the tractor is still mobile even if the hydraulics are compromised. HOLDER’s
load-sensing system calibrates power between the drive system and the PTOs. Under load,
this system will automatically adjust ground speed to maintain optimum PTO speed.
