Installing an Additional Hard Disk Drive
Refer to the drive’s manuals to see if you must set jumpers or if there is
a special installation procedure to follow. If your new hard disk drive
already has a mounting tray attached, you must remove it before you
can install the drive in your PC.
CAUTION
Make sure that you back up your files before you install a hard disk
drive. Refer to your operating system documentation for information on
how to do this.

Switch off the display and computer, and disconnect the power
supply cables and any telecommunications cables.

Remove the computer’s cover (see page 13).

Unscrew the access plate on the rear on the computer.

Pass the drive through the shelf.

Secure the drive to the box, using the four screws provided with the
drive. Two screws must be inserted in each side. Using screws other
than those provided may cause damage to the device.
Step 4: Pass drive through shelf.
Step 5: Secure drive to box.
Step 3: Unscrew rear access plate.
