Chime with Separate Decorative Cover:
The chime base can be mounted in two different ways. The base can be mounted
using the keyholes or the three mounting holes. The base may be mounted hori-
zontally or vertically depending upon the specific model purchased.
Keyhole Mounting:
• Use template on back cover of manual for screw placement. Note: Make

sure holes are level before drilling.

• Drill two 7/32" diameter pilot holes for wall anchors and insert anchors.
• Mount keyhole screws to wall leaving about 1/8" (3 mm) of the screw threads

exposed (see Figure 5).

• Using keyholes on back of chime base, hang base on screws.
• Place chime cover over tab(s) on top of chime base.
Screw Mounting:
• Remove batteries from chime.
• Place chime against wall and verify the chime is level.
• Use chime holes as a template (see Figure 6). Drill three 7/32" diameter pilot

holes for wall anchors (provided) and insert anchors.

• Insert 3 screws (provided) through holes in back of chime.
• Verify chime is level and tighten screws securely.
• Replace batteries (see Figure 2).
• Place chime cover over tab(s) on top of chime base.
