2. MAINTENANCE,
TROUBLESHOOTING
WARNING
Do not open the equipment.
Hazardous voltage which can
cause electrical shock exists
inside the equipment. Only
qualified personnel should
work inside the equipment.
2.1 Maintenance
Regular maintenance is important for good performance. Table 2-1 tabulates items to be
checked from time to time.

which tends to dim the
picture. Wipe the LCD gently with a soft
cloth. Do not use commercial
cleaners to clean the LCD; they
can remove paint and markings.

and corrosion. Clean if
necessary. If any part is corroded, contact
your dealer about replacement.
2.2 Replacing the Fuse
The fuse (5A) in the power cable protects the equipment against reverse polarity of ship’s
mains and equipment fault. If the fuse blows, find the cause before replacing it.
Use the proper fuse.
Use of a fuse of the wrong amperage will
damage the equipment and void the
warranty.
