READ ERROR

• The played back file was not recorded correctly.
• The Memory Card contact area is soiled.

• Camera fault.
• An attempt was made to play back the image or the

movie that was not recorded on this camera.

• This file cannot be played back.
• Wipe the contact area on the Memory Card with a

soft, dry cloth. It may be necessary to format the
Memory Card (

➝p.93). If the message still

appears, replace the Memory Card.

• Contact your FUJIFILM dealer.
• The movie and image cannot be played back.

TOO MANY FRAMES

An attempt was made to show 5,000 or more image
by date sorting.

No more than 4,999 images can be shown by date
sorting.

PROTECTED FRAME

• An attempt was made to erase a protected file.

• An attempt was made to rotate a protected file.

• Protected files cannot be erased. Remove the

protection (

➝p.75).

DPOF FILE ERROR

Prints were specified for 1000 or more frames in the
DPOF frame settings.

The maximum number of frames for which prints can
be specified on the same Memory Card is 999.
Copy the images for which you want to order prints
onto another Memory Card and then specify the
DPOF settings.

CAN NOT SET DPOF

An attempt was made to specify DPOF settings for a
movie or an image that is not supported by DPOF.

DPOF printing cannot be used with this image
format.
