Taking Pictures (AUTO Mode)

This section describes the basic operations.

1

Turn the camera on.

A Press POWER down fully to turn the camera on.

B Set the Mode dial to q (FinePix A900/FinePix A825/

FinePix A820/FinePix A800 only).

CAUTION

Step B is only for FinePix A900/FinePix A825/FinePix
A820/FinePix A800. Since there is no mode dial on
FinePix A610, ignore step B when using that model.

Holding the camera correctly

CAUTION

• Moving the camera while shooting gives a blurred

picture (camera shake). Hold the camera steadily with
both hands.

• If the lens or flash is obscured by your fingers or the

strap, subjects may be out of focus or the brightness
(exposure) of your shot may be incorrect.

• Check that the lens is clean. If it is dirty (getting

fingerprints on the lens etc.), clean the lens as informed
on p.118.

Continued Q
