Printer Maintenance
Performing a Ribbon Sensor Calibration
Step Description
1 Remove all cards from the Card Hopper and close the Hopper door.
2 Open the Front Cover, remove the Ribbon Cartridge and close the Printer
’s
front cover.
3 Place a notebook or a completely opaque sheet of paper in front of the
Printer to block the ambient light.
4 From a terminal window enter:
lpr -l “/usr/share/fargo/M30e/RibbonCal.prn”
5 When completed, the Printer will beep twice.
