1 Bluetooth: is een radiotechnologie die is ontwikkeld om toestellen zoals mobiele
telefoons en headsets draadloos te verbinden over een korte afstand (ongeveer

Bluetooth-profielen zijn de verschillende manieren waarop Bluetooth-toestellen met
andere toestellen communiceren. Bluetooth-telefoons ondersteunen het headset-
profiel, het handsfree-profiel of beide. Om een bepaald profiel te ondersteunen,
moet de fabrikant van de telefoon een aantal noodzakelijke functies hebben
opgenomen in de software van de telefoon.
2 Pairing: zorgt voor een unieke en beveiligde verbinding tussen twee Bluetooth-
toestellen en laat deze met elkaar communiceren. Bluetooth-toestellen zullen niet
werken wanneer ze niet met elkaar zijn verbonden.
3 Wachtwoord of PIN: is een code die u op uw mobiele telefoon invoert om hem te
verbinden met uw Jabra BT160. Hierdoor gaan uw telefoon en de Jabra BT160 elkaar
herkennen en automatisch samenwerken.
4 Stand-by-modus: is wanneer de Jabra BT160 passief een gesprek afwacht. Als u een
gesprek op uw mobiele telefoon beëindigt, keert de headset automatisch terug naar
de stand-by-modus.
