Forward Skip/Scan ( M M / > > )
DVD: Go to NEXT chapter/track. Press and
hold for two seconds for a fast forward search.
VCR: Advances the tape during the STOP
mode or for fast forward picture search.
Remote Sensor
Point the remote control here.
Display window
Shows the current status of the DVD+VCR.
Disc Tray (DVD deck)
Insert a disc here.
POWER
Turns the DVD+VCR ON and OFF.
DVD/VCR
Toggles control between the
DVD deck and the VCR deck.
COPY
Press to copy a DVD in the DVD deck to a
VHS tape in the VCR deck (see page 25).
REC
To record normally or to acti-
vate One-Touch Recording.
Reverse Skip/Scan ( m m / . . )
DVD: Go to beginning of current
chapter/track or to previous chapter/track.
Press and hold for a fast reverse search.
VCR: Rewinds the tape during the STOP
mode or for fast reverse picture search.
PLAY
Plays back a recorded tape
STOP ( x x )
Stops playback.
CH ( v v / V V )
To scan up or down
through memorized
channels.
VIDEO IN/AUDIO
IN (Left/Right)
Connect the
audio/video output
of an external
source (Audio

Video Cassette Compartment
(VCR deck)
Insert a video cassette here.
DVD EJECT ( Z Z )
Opens or closes the disc tray to load
or unload discs.
TV VIEW
Changes the view on
your television among all
the DVD+VCR input
sources: DVD, VCR,
Tuner, Line 1, and Line 2.
Child Lock
The Child Lock feature disables the front panel
keys to prevent children from tampering with the
DVD+VCR. Simply press CHILD LOCK on the
remote control to toggle this feature on and off.
VCR EJECT ( Z Z )
Ejects the tape in the VCR deck.
