Making Notes on the
Scratchpad

In addition to your internal phone book, you also have a built-
in scratchpad for making quick notes. The scratchpad
remembers the last phone number shown on your display.

Entering a Number in the Scratchpad

If you are on the phone and your party gives you another
number to call, enter the number on the scratchpad so you
can place the call later.

1. Enter the number into the keypad. (The person on the

line can hear tones as you dial.)

2. Press

to end the current call, if necessary.

3. Press

æ

to call the number you saved on the

Scratchpad.

Storing Numbers During a Call

You can also store numbers during a call:

1. Enter the number into the keypad. (The person on the

line can hear tones as you dial.)

2. Press

, and continue storing with step 3 in

”Storing Names and Numbers” on page 28.
