Personal Message: Pre-written messages that you can

create, edit, or send from the message editor.

• Canned Messages: Preformatted messages to be used for

quick responses.

Smileys:

iTAP™: Press a key containing the character you want

once, and continue to the next key. Watch the words that
form at the bottom of the screen.
Press

and

O

to select an option.

Tap: Press a key (one to x amount of times) to enter the

character you want.

Numeric: Enters numbers only (such as phone numbers).
To select a text entry method, press

$ while entering text.

To set the default, see “Phone Setup Menu” on page 58.
Correcting Text Press

C

to delete the character before the

cursor. Hold

C

to delete all displayed text.

key. Hold a key to change between upper and lower case.
