A cooker hood above the grill

This appliance should not be used
in conjunction with a hood that

uses paper or carbon filters.

The open grill should not be used
with a recirculating cooker hood.

When placing this appliance below
an extractor, the outlet system of

the extractor must be metallic
throughout its length and heat proof.

The extractor outlet ducting must
comply with national and local

building regulations.

Should any additional mechanical
ventilation be present then the

effect of this additional ventilation on
the combustion and flame performance
of any existing appliances must be
determined before any cooking
appliances are used.

Distance from the grill to the hood
should be no less than 650 mm.

All fat filters in the extractor must
be cleaned regularly. Fat build up

in the filter is a potential fire hazard.

Your Miele sales agent or the Miele
technical service department will

be pleased to provide information on
the correct installation of any Miele
appliance.

Correct usage

For safety reasons this appliance
must only be operated after it has

been built in. This is necessary to
ensure that all electrical components
are shielded.

This appliance is intended for
domestic use only and is not to be

used for commercial purposes.

Use this appliance for the
preparation of food only. Any other

usage is at the owner's risk and could
be dangerous. The manufacturer
cannot be held liable for damage
caused by incorrect or improper use of
the appliance.

Do not use the appliance to heat
up the room and never switch it on

with the heating element in the raised
position. Due to the high temperatures
radiated, objects near the appliance
could catch fire. The life of the
appliance could also be reduced.

This appliance must not be set up
or operated in the open air

When using the grill, the grill trough
must always be filled with water.
