190 Selecting a Mode
Selecting Cellular Mode
Select Cellular Preferred Mode
When this mode is active, your phone uses your
cellular service if possible. If you are out of range,
your phone switches to satellite mode. If this
happens, you will see the
+
(satellite mode)
indicator in the lower left corner of your display.
Tip: You must
have a Cellular
Cassette
installed in your
phone for these
selections to
work properly.
1. Follow the steps in “Getting to Mode
Selection...” to get to Cellular Preferred .
2. Press
O
to select.
If you see the message Check Cassette or
Insert Cassette , make sure your Cellular
Cassette is installed properly.
Select Cellular Always Mode
When you select this feature, your system always
accesses the cellular network.
1. Follow the steps in “Getting to Mode
Selection...” to get to Cellular Always .
2. Press
O
to select.
If you see the message Check Cassette or
Insert Cassette , make sure your Cellular
Cassette is installed properly.
