HOW TO USE
After verifying that everything has been connected properly, plug the power cord into an available AC wall outlet.
On the control module, set the controls as follows:
• Rotate the Volume Volume control fully couterclockwise.
• Press the 3D 3D and Mute Mute buttons so that they are in the out position, not “engaged”.
• Turn the Bass Bass, Treble Treble, and Balance Balance to the center detent position, “12 o’clock”.

Start your music, CD-ROM, movie, or other sound source playing and turn up its output level, if available.
Rotate the VVolume olume control clockwise to the desired listening level.
Adjust the Balance Balance control left and right to audibly check your connections.
Rotate the Bass Bass and Treble Treble left and right. You should noticably hear an increase or decrease in tone.
For private listening, use the headphone jack locacted on the CM-4 control module.

1. Push the S4 logo power switch located on the front
the subwoofer.
2. The S4 MidiLand logo LED should illuminate.
