The program runs normally, but a fault indicator lights up.

Issue

Possible cause

Solution *

The "Check drain"
indicator blinks.

The drain is blocked.

Clean the lint trap and the
drain pump.

The "Water intake"
indicator blinks.

The water intake is
impaired.

Check to determine:

if the water valve is open.

if the inlet hose is kinked.

The inlet hose filter is
dirty.

Clean the filter under
running water and carefully
remove any large particles.

The "Oversudsing"
indicator lights.

The machine has
oversudsed.

Run a drain cycle.
Only use the recommended
amount of a high-efficiency
detergent.

The "Main Wash"
indicator blinks in the
program sequence
display.

There is a fault.

Restart the program. If the
fault message appears
again, call Miele’s Technical
Service Department.

The "Anti-crease/End"
indicator blinks in the
program sequence
display.

The program selector
was moved to a
different setting after
the program started.

Turn the program selector to
the original position.

To turn off the fault indicator light: Turn off the washer with the "On/Off" button

and turn the program selector to "End".
