Problem Possible cause Remedy
The tumble dryer fails to
start when switched on. No obvious cause. – Is the dryer switched
on?
– Is the plug correctly
inserted into the socket
and switched on?
– Is the door closed
properly?
– Has the fuse or circuit
breaker tripped?
The interior drum
lighting does not come
on. The lighting switches off
automatically (to save
energy). Switch the dryer off and
then on again.
The lamp needs
changing. Change the lamp as
described at the end of
this section.
