Insignia NS-B3112 Boombox with iPod® Dock

To remove your iPod ® from the boombox, pull out the iPod ® holder
with your finger, as shown in the illustration.
Troubleshooting
Caution
Do not try to repair the boombox yourself. Doing so will
invalidate your warranty.
Problem Possible cause Solution
CD player will
not play A CD is not inserted, or is
inserted incorrectly. Insert the CD with the label facing
up.
A CD skips
while playing The CD is dirty or scratched. Wipe the CD with a cloth to clean it,
or use another CD.
Noise or sound
distorted on AM
or FM radio
broadcasts FM—The antenna is not
extended. Extend the FM antenna.
AM—Your boombox is not
positioned correctly. Rotate your boombox until the best
reception is obtained.
No sound The volume control is turned
down. Increase the volume.
The AC power adapter is
unplugged. Plug in the AC power adapter and
press
( Standby/on) to turn on
your boombox.
No batteries, dead batteries, or
batteries not installed correctly. Make sure that you have installed
fresh batteries and that they are
installed correctly.
No sound in
iPod
® mode
The iPod is not connected
correctly. Make sure that the connection is
correct.
Your boombox is not in iPod ®
mode.
Press FUNCTION to select iPod ®
mode.
Not charging the
iPod
® battery
The AC power adapter is not
plugged in. Plug in the AC power adapter.
