the

system

or

dedicated

to

the

BMC.

This

choice,

together

with

the

BMC

Mode

setting,

affects

serial-related

behavior

and

remote-management

capabilities

on

this

server.

view

the

settings

for

each

BMC

user

ID,

change

the

password

for

a

BMC

user

ID,

privilege

level.

view

the

mini-BMC

MAC

address,

IP

address,

subnet

mask,

gateway

address,

host

name,

and

DHCP

control

setting.

Log

choice

view

the

BMC

system-event

log,

which

contains

all

system-error

messages

that

have

been

generated.

Use

the

to

move

among

pages

in

the

log.

Run

the

diagnostic

programs

to

get

more

information

about

error

codes

that

occur.

To

clear

the

BMC

system-event

log,

select

Clear

BMC

SELs

and

confirm

the

selection.

The

BMC

system-event

log

is

limited

in

size.

When

the

log

is

full,

new

entries

will

not

overwrite

existing

entries;

therefore,

you

must

periodically

clear

the

BMC

system-event

log.

When

you

are

troubleshooting

an

error,

be

sure

to

clear

the

BMC

system-event

log

so

that

you

can

find

current

errors

more

easily.
