[5] Checking the IP Address of the Computer
When the AVeL Link Player has been connected to a network without DHCP server, change the IP address of the AVeL Link Player to one that
allows it to communicate with your computer. You must check the IP address of your computer before setting the IP address of the AVeL Link
Player.
The following describes the method to check the IP address of your computer.
The specific method varies depending on the operating system, so read only the section applicable to the operating system your computer is
running.
Windows XP Refer to p.30 if your computer is running Windows XP.
Windows 2000 Refer to p.32 if your computer is running Windows 2000.
Windows 98 SE Refer to p.34 if your computer is running Windows 98 SE.
Mac OS X Refer to p.35 if your computer is running Mac OS X.
If a DHCP server is available, this procedure is not required.
