Remote control
** For information on programming the remote to control your

1 POWER Press to turn your recorder on or
off.
2 OPEN/CLOSE Press to open and close the disc
tray.
3 0 - 9 number
buttons Press to select numbered options in
a menu or to enter a channel
number directly.
4 AV/INPUT Press to toggle through input
choices (AV1 or AV2).
5 SCAN . Press to search backward or
forward.

PAUSE/STEP
Press once to pause playback or
recording. Press repeatedly to
advance frame by frame.
7 HOME Press to open or close the HOME
menu.

Press to select menu options.
9 ENTER Press to confirm menu selections.
10 DISPLAY Press to open the on-screen
display, which provides current
status information and where you
can change settings and options.
11 AUDIO Press to select an audio language or
audio channel.

Press to start recording. Press
repeatedly to set the recording time
(duration).
14 REC MODE Press to select the recording mode.
15 PLAY MODE Press to select the play mode.
16 CLEAR Press to remove a marker from the
marker search menu.

chapter (DVD) or track (CD).

Press to stop playback or recording.
24 MENU/LIST Press to open the DVD menu, a title
list, or a playlist.
25 RETURN Press to close the on-screen display
and return to normal viewing.
26 SETUP Press to open and close the setup
menu.
27 ZOOM Press to enlarge the DVD image to
2, 3, or 4 times the original size.
28 CHP. ADD Press to insert a chapter marker
when playing or recording a DVD.
29 THUMBNAIL Press to select a thumbnail picture
for the current title in the Title List
menu.

31 TITLE Press to display the title menu of
the DVD, if available.
