Installation Requirements
To successfully install and configure the IRIS DC1100, you will need the following:
PC Workstation Requirement
ƒ Ethernet network Interface
ƒ TCP/IP network protocol installed
ƒ Terminal emulation or Telnet software for configuring IRIS via your PC’s serial port or
network before placing it into service on a network. HyperTerminal is such software included
in Windows operating system.
Network Service Provider Requirements
Your Network Service provider should provide the following:
ƒ An uplink connection to the Internet provided by a NSP
ƒ The NSP equipment must have output of 10/100 Ethernet port.
ƒ One Static IP Address
ƒ Gateway Address
ƒ Subnet mask
ƒ DNS address
