Suspension

The Xterra

GT

was designed with a new approach to climbing, handling uneven terrain and making transitions.

The frame is allowed

to flex and pivot around

a spring suspension.

The six wheels of the GT remain in contact with
the ground for maximum stability, safety and traction
when negotiating uneven terrain.

Electronics

MKIV-A (optional)

The MKIV

controller is the foundation of

the most advanced power chair driving system
in the industry

The MKIV provides a wealth of programming
options to help virtually any user drive safely
and confidently

The MKIV-RII 80-amp controller is the
newest member of the MKIV family. This
controller has one drive and accommodates
a joystick, while providing the current
needed to handle the GT’s performance

The MKIV-A interfaces with an incredible
range of driver inputs, including multiple-size
joysticks, Touchpad technology, Peachtree
proportional head control, Sip N’ Puff controls
and all ASL non-proportional driver controls

Windows

®

-based MKIV one2one software

provides invisible and intuitive programming
by converting even the most advanced clinical
and functional questions into driving programs

By releasing
the latch under
the seat, the
GT seat frame
pivots rearward,
allowing access
to the 22NF
batteries.

The high torque of the new

motors lifts the front wheels to

facilitate the change in pitch.

Battery Access

Weight is transferred to the

drive wheels, providing both

traction and motor strength

to elegantly pull the user and

chair over the obstacle.

The individual
batteries can
easily be lifted
out of the base,
using straps.
