READY
Removing the SmartMedia
1 Open the SmartMedia cover.
• Slide the SmartMedia cover release
in the direction of the arrow and then
release.
2 Remove the SmartMedia.
• Push the SmartMedia slowly all the
way in and then pull it out.
3 Close the SmartMedia cover.
! CAUTIONS
• Never remove the SmartMedia while data is being recorded onto or read from
the card as this can corrupt the data on the SmartMedia or damage the
SmartMedia itself.
• Remove the SmartMedia if the camera will not be used for a long period.
• If you are copying images to another SmartMedia (
a P.50), leave the camera
switched on while you remove and load the SmartMedia.
