become dirty (ex. finger-
prints).

40. An unusual mark appears.

41. An error indication

(E01 — E06) appears.

42. The charger indicator on the

camcorder does not light.

43. When the image is printed

from the printer, a black bar
appears at the bottom of the
screen.

44. When the camcorder is

connected via the DV
connector, the camcorder
does not operate.

45. The memory card cannot be

removed from the
camcorder.

36. • Turn the speaker volume

down (

pg. 21).

37. • Set “S/AV INPUT” to “OFF” in

the Menu Screen (

pg. 50).

38. • Clean the video heads with an

optional cleaning cassette
(

pg. 86).

39. • Wipe them gently with soft

cloth. Wiping strongly can
cause damage (

pg. 77).

40. • Check the section of the

manual that explains LCD
monitor/viewfinder indica-
tions (

pg. 80 – 84).

41. • Remove the power supply

(battery pack, etc.) and wait a
few minutes for the indication
to clear. When it does, you
can resume using the
camcorder.
If the indication remains even
though you repeat the above
two or three times, please
consult your nearest JVC
dealer.

42. • To protect the battery, it is

recommended to charge it in
places with a temperature of
10°C to 35°C (

pg. 85).

43. • By recording with “DIS”

activated (

pg. 47) this can

be avoided.

44. • Turn the camcorder’s power

off and on again, then operate
it.

45. • Push in the memory card a

few more times (

pg. 14).
