ADDING SOUND EFFECTS
The provided CD-ROM contains sound effects files for use with camcorders. In order to use these files, copy
them to a memory card by the procedure described below. However, if your camcorder is not equipped with
Digital Sound Effect function, these files can not be used.

Open a memory card through the PC.
● Connect the camcorder to the PC with a USB cable referring to the Software Installation and USB
Connection Guide. Or use an adapter (

Load the CD-ROM into the PC.
After the moment, the [Important Notice] screen appears.
● If the [Important Notice] screen does not appear, go to step 4.

Click [NEXT], and then click [EXIT].

Right-click the CD-ROM icon in [My Computer], and then in the menu that appears, click
[OPEN].

Open the [DCSD] folder in the CD-ROM.

Select the file to be used with the camcorder.
● You can play the sound effect by double-clicking the file icon.

Copy the selected file from the CD-ROM to the memory card.
● Copy to the [100JVCGR] folder in the [DCSD] folder.
