Rear I/O Terminals

Input ports

1

[ALARM IN 1 to 4] terminals

Alarm recording is activated when signals are input to

these terminals.

[EMERGENCY] terminal

Recording is activated in all cameras when a signal is

input to this terminal.

* Recording will not be started in cameras to which no

video signal is being input.

[ALARM RESET] terminal

Output from the alarm output terminal is stopped when a

signal is input during alarm terminal output.

[EXT REC IN] terminal

Recording in all cameras is started or stopped by an

external signal.

* Recording will not be started in cameras to which no

video signal is being input.

[OPE ON/OFF] terminal

Switches between OPERATE on or off when a signal is input.

Output ports

[COMMON] terminal

The common grounding terminal. Connected to the

signal grounding terminal on the connected device.

(This can be used when there are insufficient common grounding terminals.)

[ALARM OUT] terminal

Outputs a signal when recording is started by an alarm.

[WARNING OUT] terminal

Outputs a signal when an operation abnormality or

other error occurs on the hard disk.

[REC TALLY] terminal

Outputs the recording status of the VR-N900U.

[OPTION OUT 1 & 2] terminals

Outputs a signal when an event is detected.

[COMMON] terminal

[SIGNAL GND] terminal

The common grounding terminal. Connected to the

signal grounding terminal on the connected device.

Note

• Do not use this terminal for protective earthing.
