Wiring

1. Dark Blue Wire

The dark blue wire can be used to remotely activate an automatic antenna or an external
amplifier. See antenna or amplifier manual for detailed instructions.

2. Red Wire

Connect the red wire to the radio fuse +12V accessory in the fuse block.

3. Black Wire

Connect to a metal part of the dash, drilling a hole if necessary.

4. Yellow Wire

Connect to the positive 12V battery terminal. The yellow wire must be connected as shown, or
the radio will not operate properly.

5. Antenna Connector

Connect the antenna plug from the existing antenna cable (some vehicles require an adaptor).

6. CD Changer Connector

This 8-pin DIN socket provides the connection to the optional CD Changer.

7. Blue RCA Cable

RCA line out jack to optional subwoofer amplifier.

8. Yellow RCA Cables

RCA line in jacks for use with auxiliary input devices (CD player, etc.)

9. Grey RCA Cables

RCA line out jacks for use with optional external amplifiers. The red connector is for the right
and the white connector is for the left.

Note: The amplifiers in this radio are only designed for use with four speakers. Never
combine (bridge) outputs for use with two speakers. Never ground negative speaker
leads to chassis ground. Failure to wire exactly as shown may cause electrical damage
to the radio.
