To tune in to an ensemble manually
In step 3 on page 50...
When surrounding sounds are noisy
While driving, surrounding sounds will
interfere with your listening. Especially the low
level sounds will be hard to listen.
If this happens, you can reinforce the low level
sounds to improve your listening to.
• For this purpose, some service provides
Dynamic Range Control (DRC) signals
together with their regular programme
signals.

While listening to a service...
The Main Menu appears on
the display.

Move the cursor to “MODE” on the
Main Menu.

Enter the DAB MODE Menu.
The last selected item appears (highlighted)
with the current setting.

Select “DRC.”
Select ensemble
frequencies.
Activate “Manual
Search.”
