I cannot make/
answer calls. Make sure that you have a phone
signal (see page 31). Avoid
electrical or radio interference,
and obstructions such as bridges,
parking garages, or tall buildings.
Your phone also may have the
Call Barring
feature turned on. If
you know the unlock code, you
can change this setting in the
security menu (
M > More
> Settings > Security). Also, check
to be sure your SIM card is
installed and working.
My phone has
poor reception
and drops
calls. Make sure you have a phone
signal (see page 31). Stay clear of
any obstructions such as bridges,
parking garages, or tall buildings.
I cannot hear
others on my
phone. While on a call, press the volume
key on the left side of your phone.
Your phone display should show
the volume increasing.
Also, make sure that your phone’s
earpiece is not blocked by its
carrying case.
I cannot open
my inbox. Before you can use text or
information services messages,
you must set up the appropriate
inbox. See page 73.
