Tighten Wheel/Axle Hardware Correctly

CAUTION: NEVER operate tractor with a
loose rim, wheel, hub, or axle.

Any time hardware is loosened, tighten to specified
torque.

NOTE: Follow checking procedure when a new tractor

is first used, or wheels have been off.

1. After driving tractor about 100 m (109 yd), and

before placing it under load, tighten hardware to
specified torque.

2. Check hardware after working three hours and

again after 10 hours.

3. Check all hardware frequently and keep it tight.
