5.13. Password
The APIs below are related to passwords. These are equivalent to the features on the Password page of the WEB setting page. Refer to the
instruction manual for details on the Password page.
Setting Password for VN-E4
Format /api/param?system.password.data1=data2
Example /api/param?system.password.admin=someword
Example of Response system.password.admin&200 OK
Interpretation Change the VN-E4 password. Different passwords may be set for the 3 user name types, namely admin,
operator and user. Set a password between 4 to 8 characters.
There is no API for acquiring passwords.
