CONVECTION COOKING

This microwave oven has 10 pre-set oven temperatures which use a combination of the top and
bottom grills.

Example 1: To cook with preheating
Suppose you want to pre-heat to 180o C and cook for 20 minutes at 180o C.

NOTES:
1.
After preheating, if you want to cook at a different temperature press the CONVECTION key until

the desired setting appears on the display. In the example above, to change the temperature you
would press the CONVECTION key after entering the cooking time.

2. When the oven reaches the programmed temperature, it will automatically hold at the pre-heated

temperature for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes the display will change to time of day, if set and the
convection temperature will be cancelled.

3. After cooking, the display may show “NOW COOLING”.

1. Enter the desired convection

temperature by pressing the
CONVECTION key five times.
The display will show 180° C.

Check the display

3. Enter the cooking time.

Press the 10 MIN key
twice.

4. Press the

START/+1min key.

2. Press the START/+1min

key to start pre-heating.
The display shows
“PREHEAT”

When the pre-heated
temperature has been reached
the audible signal sounds.
The display will show “180C” .
Open the door and place the
food inside the oven.
Close the door.

Note:
Temperature measurements taken whilst the oven is in convection mode will differ from the displayed
level. This is due to the grill elements turning on and off in order to regulate the oven temperature. This
will not affect the cooking results as long as the operation manual and cook book are followed correctly.

WARNING: The oven cavity, door, outer cabinet, turntable, racks, dishes and

especially the bottom grill will become very hot, always use thick oven gloves when
removing the food or turntable from the oven to prevent burns.
