Timer-activated
recording of radio
programs
— REC Timer
Set the REC Timer to make the system start
recording from a preset radio station at a
specified time (see “Step 3: Presetting radio
stations” on page 7). To use this function,
make sure that you have set the system clock
correctly (see “Step 2: Setting the time” on
page 6).

Tune in the preset radio station that
you want to record from (see
“Listening to the radio” on page 14).

Insert a recordable tape with the
side you want to record on facing
towards you.

Press TIMER SET on the remote.

Press l or L on the remote
repeatedly until “SET REC”
appears.
After “SET REC” scrolls across the
display, “c REC” appears.

Press ENTER on the remote.
“ON TIME” appears, then the hour
indication flashes.

Set the starting time.
Press l or L on the remote
repeatedly to set the hour, then press
ENTER on the remote.
The minute indication begins flashing
next.

Press l or L on the remote
repeatedly to set the minute, then press
ENTER on the remote.
“OFF TIME” appears, then the hour
indication flashes again.
