Notes:

z

One disc name and up to 99 group names and 255
track names can be created per disc. (A maximum of
40 characters for each disc, group and track name,
and a total of 1,700 characters can be entered per
disc.)

z

You cannot use "/" in a name successively.

z

The MD that has been group recorded with this unit
should not be named using other equipment. The disc
may not be played properly.

z

If the number of characters entered as a disc, group or
track name exceeds 40, "N-FULL" will be displayed.

z

When a disc, group, or track name that contains 40
characters is changed, "NAME CUT" will be displayed,
In this case, delete all the characters and reenter the
names.

z

If you enter "LP:" at the beginning of a name, "LP:"
may not be displayed.

Stamping titles from another MiniDisc

Before stamping

When there are 2 MiniDiscs on which the same tracks
are recorded, you can transfer the character information
(disc, group, and track names) of the master MiniDisc to
another MiniDisc (for stamping) simultaneously.

Notes:

z

When information of the non-grouped MD is stamped on
the group-recorded MD, the disc and track names will be
stamped properly. However, the group information will be
erased.

z

When information of the group-recorded MD is stamped
on the non-grouped MD, tracks will be grouped automati-
cally.
