2.1 Front Panel Components

7 Calendar: Press for quick access to your Calendar.

1 Volume: Allows you to adjust the device volume.

8 End: Press to end a phone call. Can also be used to

turn off your device’s network signal.

2 Infrared port: Allows the wireless exchange of data

with similarly equipped devices.

9 Navigation pad: Press to move directionally through

drop-down menus and applications. Press the

a) Flashing green every 3 seconds: Indicates GSM

network signal.

b) Flashing green every 1 second: Indicates a

notification or alarm reminder.

c) Steady red: Indicates that the battery is empty.
d) Flashing red: Indicates that the battery is almost

empty.

e) Steady amber: Indicates that the battery is

charging.

f) Steady green: Indicates that the battery is fully

charged.

12 Touch screen: Written input source for notes,

applications, and contact information. Use the stylus
for best results!
