Move the easy scroll key to select
“COMMAND MODE”, then press the key
to enter the selection.

The COMMAND MODE list appears.

To select the command mode for the
main room

Move the easy scroll key to select “MAIN
ROOM”, then press the key to enter the
selection. Move the easy scroll key again to
select “AV SYSTEM1” or “AV
SYSTEM2”, then press the key to enter the
selection.

To select the 2nd room mode

Using an optional IR repeater as shown
below, the following operations are possible
with the remote:

• Switching sources.

• Adjusting the volume.

• Switching the power to on or off.

Set the command mode of the remote to the
2nd room mode.
Move the easy scroll key to select “2ND
ROOM”, then press the key to enter the
selection.

To select the 3rd room mode

Move the easy scroll key to select “3RD
ROOM”, then press the key to enter the
selection.

Tips

• Only when the remote is turned on by pressing

SOUND FIELD or FUNCTION, the COMMAND
MODE appears in the first line of the display.

• Make sure that the command mode of the remote

and the receiver in the main room is the same.

Notes

• The 3rd room mode is not available with

STR-DA4ES.

• The 2nd (or 3rd) room mode is available for North

American model only.
