Set Recording Deck
Use the number keys (1-2) to set the deck
in which you would like to record. The
default setting is the currently selected
deck.
1 Deck 1 — Sets the Timer Recording to
record in Deck 1.
2 Deck 2 — Sets the Timer Recording to
record in Deck 2.
Set Recording Speed
Use the number keys (1-3) to set the
recording speed. The default setting is Auto.
1 Auto — Complete Program Record (see
note at left).
2 SP — Standard Play. Delivers best quality.
A T-120 tape will record 2 hours.
3 SLP — Super Long Play. Delivers maxi-
mum recording time. A T-120 tape will
record 6 hours.

Complete Program Record
When Auto is selected, the
Timer event begins to record
in SP; the VCR then calculates
how much time is remaining
on the tape and adjusts the
record speed to SLP if neces-
sary to fit the entire event. If
there is not enough tape to
record the entire event, the
VCR will record in SLP until
the end of the tape is reached.
