Symptom
Even when the
camera’s buttons are
pressed, it does not
operate.
The date and time is
wrong.

Cause
The battery is running low.
Camera malfunction.

The battery is removed with
the power still on.
Solution
Recharge or replace
battery.
Turn the power off and
remove the battery once,
and try again.

Symptom
Cannot download
images.
Cause
The free space on the hard
disk in your computer may
be insufficient.
No power supply.
The USB driver is not
installed (for Windows
98/98SE.
Solution
Check whether the hard
disk has a space for
running Windows, and if
the drive for loading image
files has a capacity at least
that of the memory card
inserted in the camera.
Recharge the battery or
turn the power on.
Install USB driver.
