Setting Up the Parental Control
The Parental Control function works in conjunction with DVDs that have been assigned a rating.
This helps you control the types of DVDs that your family watches. There are up to 8 rating lev-
els on a disc.
1 In stop mode, press the SET UP button on the remote.
- Setup menu will be displayed.

Use the UP/DOWN button to select Parental Control, and then
press the ENTER button.
- The Check Password screen appears.
3 Enter your password. (initial code : 7777)
- The Parental Control screen appears.
4 About the Rating Level:
- To Unlock the player;
1) Use UP/DOWN button to select Rating Level, and then press the ENTER
button.
2) Use UP/DOWN button to select “Unlock”, and then press the ENTER button.
- To lock the player;
Use the UP/DOWN button to select the level (e.g. Level 6), and press ENTER.
Discs that contain Level 7 will now not play.
5 About Change Password:
- Use the UP/DOWN button to select Change Password.
The Change Password screen appears.
- Enter your new password. Re-enter the new password again to confirm.

To make the setup menu disappear, press the SETUP button
again or press the RETURN/INPUT button.
