Freezes the current frame of the
picture.
Displays the current time.
Displays two Help pages sequential-
ly, showing instructions for use and a
description of the main buttons.
Enables direct selection of picture
format.
Displays information relating to the
programme on screen:programme
number, decoded audio and, if
transmitted by the broadcaster, time
and name.
Selects the next programme in sequen-
ce, in descending numerical order.
Increases volume.
Pressed once, enlarges the top
half of the page; pressed a second
time, enlarges the bottom half, and
pressed a third time, restores the full
page to normal size.
Pressed once, holds a sub-page
temporarily. Pressed a second time,
releases the page.
Captures a sub-page directly, avoi-
ding the automatic change pause.
While the page search is in progress,
pressing once hides Videotext tem-
porarily, restoring TV mode. Once
the page has been captured, pres-
sing a second time shows it on the
screen.
Pressed once, the screen reveals
normally hidden text (e.g. answers
to puzzles). Pressed a second time,
the text is concealed again.
Closes Videotext and returns the
television to TV mode.
Selects the next page in sequence,
in descending numerical order.
Returns the OSD to the previous menu.
Closes any menu or sub-menu and
returns the appliance to TV mode.
Selects the next item down in the
menu displayed.
Increases the values of the control
bar for the selected item; in the case
of a hidden selection, cycles through
the available options. Used to access
sub-menus from OSD menus when
this symbol is displayed: >
[20] Mutes the television sound instantaneously.
