CARD ADJUSTMENT (Continued)
Adjusting the SOUND Settings
You can listen to the audio from TV or external devices such as VCR or DVD player, etc. through the TV
set while card playback.

Press CARD to change to CARD
mode.

Press MENU to display the MENU
screen, press ]/[ to move the
cursor to CARD SETTING, and
press ENTER to display the
CARD SETTING screen.

Press ]/[ to move the cursor to
SOUND SETTING, and press
ENTER.

Press ]/[ to select the desired
setting item, and press ENTER.

Press </ > to select ON or --
(OFF), and press ENTER.
■ You can select only one of the
following items for the SOUND
SETTING during card playback.
• TV: Outputs the audio from TV prior
to switching to CARD mode.
STEREO audio or SAP is set as
the audio on the television
screen.
• AV1: Outputs the audio from AV-IN1
terminal.
• AV2: Outputs the audio from AV-IN2
terminal.
• COMPONENT:
Outputs the audio from
COMPONENT terminal.
■ During CARD mode, the SOUND
SETTING can be changed by pressing
MTS on the remote control. Each time
MTS is pressed, the SOUND SETTING
will be changed as follows.
● Audio recorded on the memory card cannot be played back.
● If any of the sound item is set to ON, all other sound item will be automatically set to -- (OFF).
● When OUT has been selected as the AV2 IN/OUT setting, it is not possible to set AV2 to ON in SOUND SETTING for
CARD mode. In order to set AV2 to ON, select IN as the AV2 IN/OUT setting.
