Using the Program Guide

The Program Guide shows program information for satellite and non-
satellite stations for up to three days in advance. You can open the
Program Guide using the Main Menu or by pressing the GUIDE button.

Press the GUIDE button.

The Program Guide opens. If a current standard definition
satellite program is highlighted, it appears in the Media Windows.

Highlight the program you want.

The sound and the picture in the Media Window change as you
highlight different programs.
Skipped stations do not appear (see page 58).

Shows audio and video of standard
definition satellite programming.

Information Area
Shows program information for
satellite programming.

Move the joystick up
and down to highlight
different stations.

Press the CH +/– button
to move the highlight to
the next page of stations.

List Area
Shows program schedules for
satellite programming.

Move the joystick right to
highlight future programs.

Select the program you want.

If you select a current program, the Program Guide closes. For
information about selecting a future program, see “One Button
Timer & Rec” on page 76.

Tip

Press the EXIT button to close the
Program Guide and return to the
previous station.

Note

If you select a program and the station is
blocked or a limit has been reached, you
can temporarily unlock your Digital
Satellite Receiver using your passcode.
See “Locking Your Receiver” on page 70
for information about the passcode.
