Viewing Messages
Your service provider may occasionally send messages to your Digital
Satellite Receiver to inform you of changes to your service and other
special announcements.
1 Press the MENU button, then highlight and select
DIRECTV.
The DIRECTV menu appears.
2 Highlight and select “Messages”.
The Messages display appears.
3 Highlight and select the message you want to
read.
The message pop-up appears.

Closes the Messages display to
show the Main Menu.
Help
Opens information about the
Messages display.
Delete
Closes the message pop-up and
deletes the message.
Return
Closes the message pop-up and
saves the message.
4 Highlight and select “Return” or “Delete”.
The message pop-up closes to show the Messages display.
