Using the Audio Display

You can set your Digital Satellite Receiver to play the audio track in the
language you prefer if that language is available. You can also set your
Digital Satellite Receiver to output Dolby Digital audio signals when
they are available. You may also set the receiver to display the closed
captioning and text of programs.

Press the MENU button, then highlight and select
AUDIO.

The Audio display appears.

Highlight and select the setting you want to
change.

MENU

Current Audio
Shows which track you are currently
hearing. If a program has more than one
audio track, you can select the audio track
you want to hear.

Default Audio
Lets you change the audio track for all
satellite system and digital TV stations. If
the default audio track you selected is not
available, you will hear the Current
Audio track. Analog TV and Cable TV
programs do not have Default Audio
options.

Dolby Digital
Lets you receive Dolby Digital audio
signals from satellite and digital TV
programs when they are available. You
must have a Dolby Digital audio system
to enjoy Dolby Digital sound.

Closed Caption
Lets you display the closed captioning or
text of programs.

Return
Closes the Audio display to
show the Main Menu.

Help
Shows information about
the Audio display.
