Front Panel

POWER Button
Turns your Digital Satellite Receiver on and off.

Display Window
Displays information about your Digital Satellite
Receiver.

Arrow and

Buttons

The arrow buttons move the highlight in the
on-screen displays. The

button selects the

highlighted item.

MENU Button
Opens the Main Menu.

GUIDE Button
Opens the Program Guide.

OUTPUT SELECT button
Changes the video output of your Digital Satellite
Receiver. The available settings are:
• Video 1/2, VHF/UHF 480i
• Video 3 480i
• Video 3 variable
• Video 3 1080i
• VGA 1080i

Display Window

Power indicator
Shows that the Digital Satellite Receiver is on.

TV/SAT indicator
The TV indicator shows that signals from the
VHF/UHF IN jack are being output from the
VHF(SAT)/UHF OUT jack. The SAT indicator
shows that signals from all three inputs are being
output from the VHF(SAT)/UHF jack. Use the
TV/SAT button on the remote control to change
the output.

TIMER indicator
Shows that a Timer event is scheduled.

TIMER REC indicator
Shows that a Timer& Rec event is scheduled.

Dolby Digital Indicator
Shows that Dolby Digital audio signals are
available.

Clock Display
Shows time information. The time is
automatically set by your service provider if you
receive satellite signals.

Channel Number/Station Name Display
Shows channel number and station name
information. Shows the OUTPUT SELECT status.
Shows the antenna signal strength level. Shows
the status of Timer and Timer & Rec events. It
may also display song, artist, and other
information from certain satellite music channels.
