Changing the screen
settings
You can adjust the screen settings manually if
the screen is hard to see from your position.

Press TV MENU.
The “PICTURE” screen appears.
Each time you press TV CH/PRESET –,
.
(Previous) or +, >(Next) [TUNE/CH
– or +], the setting screen changes in the
following sequence:

Press ENTER to adjust to the desired
setting.
PICTURE: Press TV CH/PRESET +,
> (Next) [TUNE/CH +] to
increase the contrast. Press TV
CH/PRESET –, .(Previous)
[TUNE/CH –] to decrease
contrast. Press ENTER to enter the
setting. (Default value: 32)
BRIGHTNESS:
Press TV CH/PRESET +, >(Next)
[TUNE/CH +] to brighten the picture.
Press TV CH/PRESET –, .(Previous)
[TUNE/CH –] to darken the picture.
Press ENTER to enter the setting.
(Default value: 30)
COLOR: Press TV CH/PRESET +, >(Next)
[TUNE/CH +] to increase color
saturation. Press TV CH/PRESET –, .
(Previous) [TUNE/CH –] to decrease
color saturation. Press ENTER to enter
the setting. (Default value: 32)
HUE: Press TV CH/PRESET +, >(Next)
[TUNE/CH +] to increase red tones. Press
TV CH/PRESET –, .(Previous)
[TUNE/CH –]
to decrease the green tones.
Press ENTER to enter the setting.
RESET: You can reset the PICTURE, BRIGHTNESS,
COLOR and HUE settings to the factory
setting. Press
TV CH/PRESET –,
. (Previous) or +, >(Next) [TUNE/
CH – or +] to select “YES.”
Press ENTER to enter the setting.
CABLE: Press TV CH/PRESET –, .(Previous)
or +, >(Next) [TUNE/CH – or +] to
select one of the following options.
ON : Select if you are receiving cable
channels with a CATV cable.
OFF : Select if you are using a TV antenna.
Press ENTER to enter the setting.
MTS: Press TV CH/PRESET –, .(Previous)
or +, >(Next) [TUNE/CH – or +] to
select one of the following options.
STEREO : Select when viewing a broadcast in
stereo.
MONO : Select to reduce noise in areas of
poor reception.
AUTO SAP : Select to have the TV
automatically switch to a second audio
program(SAP) when a signal is received.
Press ENTER to enter the setting.
AUTO PROGRAM:
Press TV CH/PRESET –, .(Previous)
or +, >(Next) [TUNE/CH – or +] to
select “YES,” then press ENTER. The TV
will scan through all available channels
and program receivable channels.
CHANNEL SKIP/ADD:
Select whether a channel is skipped or
displayed when
TV CH/PRESET –, .
(Previous) or +, >(Next) [TUNE/CH
– or +] is pressed.
Select CHANNEL by TV CH/PRESET –,
. (Previous) or +, >(Next)
[TUNE/CH – or +] and then press
ENTER.
When you want to skip the channel, press
TV CH/PRESET –, .(Previous) or +,
>
(Next) [TUNE/CH – or +] , display
SKIP and then press ENTER.
When you want to display the channel,
select ADD in the procedure mentioned
above.
The setting value of
the item selected
appears in this area.
