If the disc contains both videos and
photos, press
V or v to select [Video]
and press b.
Playback starts automatically when an
unfinalized disc is inserted.
When playing back a finalized disc, go to step 8.

Press V/v/B/b to select the title you
want to view, and press the
(playback) button.
The DVDirect starts playback.
To stop playback
Press the (stop) button. When you press the
(play) button again, the DVDirect starts
playback from the point when you pressed the
(stop) button. To play from the beginning of
the disc, reinsert the disc and press the (play)
button.
z Hint
• If you play the finalized disc, you can display the Disc
Menu and play from the beginning of the selected title
(pages 62 and 78).
Note on playback display
If you press the DISPLAY button on the remote
during playback, the following playback
information appears. When the DISPLAY button
is pressed again, the information is not shown.
For details on chapter, scene, or title number,
refer to “About Created Discs” on page 78.
z Hint
• When you connect the DVDirect to High Definition
TV and playback HD (High Definition) disc, scene
number and title number appear on the bottom of
display.

Turn on the DVDirect and insert a disc
created with the DVDirect.
